Pros: Sleek Design, Navigation stick, Camera
Cons: Original packaging,included memory
The Bottom Line: After moving up from a Palm M100, this is a perfect and powerful aid.
Review: I had relied on little yellow sticky notes, torn off pieces of paper, or my memory to keep my professional and personal life in balance for many years. Then a few years ago, I allowed the technology of the Palm M100 to aid me in my quest for perfection ...

Pros: Digital camera, beautiful color screen, mp3 player
Cons: cheap stylus
The Bottom Line: Great handheld for those who don't want to spend a lot.
Review: August 2003; my computer got the Welchia virus. In the process of fixing that, my beloved and oh so sacred Palm m505 took a nose-dive off of my desk chair. Aluminum casing? A short drop of 2 feet? Not a problem? NO! With my horrible luck of that ...

Pros: digital camera, MP3 player, Palm OS 5, great screen, Graffiti 2
Cons: memory card needed to play MP3s
The Bottom Line: The Palm Zire 71 is an affordable PDA, packed with many awesome features. Highly recommended by me to all.
Review: PDAs are really useful items, and each year they become better and better. A lot of my friends and I have become hooked on this marvelous technology, and I have had a chance to use many models. One particular Palm that I liked after using it was the Palm ...

Pros: Built in camera for quick pics, fast processor for apps, sharp, colorful display.
Cons: Slippery casing, no bluetooth, vibrate, voice recorder. Internal cable problem may occur.
The Bottom Line: For the decent price, the Zire 71 offers a lot of value and features compared to others in the same price range. It is afterall, a PDA first and foremost.
Review: (Added Nov 17, 2005) I have created a Palm blog focused originally for Palm newbies and those curious about what Palms can do for them. Originally, the posts will first discuss why a Palm is a better organizer than the usual paper organizer, ...

Pros: Built in camera, 320x320 High-res screen, OS5, Graffiti2, MP3 Player, Snappy performance, SD slot
Cons: No 'charging' light, Reset hole set too far in
The Bottom Line: I would recommend the Zire 71 for anyone who is looking for a "high-end"-like PDA, but don't want to pay the "high-end" price tag.
Review: This is my third Palm powered device. I previously owned a Palm Vx and a Palm m515. Both were Palm's flagship products at the time.
Sony started introducing high-quality and well priced Clié handhelds which have certainly outdone Palm's...

Pros: Screen, MP3, Video, Camera, Graffiti 2
Cons: WiFi not available (yet). Built-in speaker is pretty bad. Memory card required for mp3/movie playback.
The Bottom Line: This is an awesome unit for the casual palm user who likes to play around. It's a great, hard working, unit that makes playing a blast.

Pros: Camera, Speed, Palm OS 5.2.1
Cons: Says "Zire", 16MB memory
The Bottom Line: The Palm Zire 71 is unlike any other Zire. It's actually an excellent device, though a bit pricey.
Review: The Palm Zire 71 is the highest-end Zire series device made by Palm. The Palm Zire 71 is technically more expensive than the Palm Tungsten E by about $50. Therefore the lower-end Zire series has a model that surpasses the low-end model of ...

Review: I recently bought a Palm for my wife. Stop sniggering, you in the back row... it wasn't a trade! When Palm bought out the Zire 72, I was able to pick up the outgoing Zire 71 for half-price ($150). This was my first major exposure to a Palm machine, ...
