Epinions It may move Mario around but it still won't turn on your tv.

by  tommy_lop,  Dec 28, 2006
Pros: cool motion sensing, has speaker and even a rumble
Cons: strap can break, requires batteries.
The Bottom Line: Wiitards: people who break there TV's because of the wii remote.
Review: I got another wii mote for Christmas and decided to sit down and write about the Wii remote which makes the Nintendo Wii so unique. When you look at the Wii mote it looks remarkably like a TV remote control, despite its odd look don’t underestimate ...

Epinions Love the wireless controller

by  iluvpiano,  Aug 2, 2008
Pros: Very durable; good battery life
Cons: Expensive alone but worth it for the games
The Bottom Line: The extra Wii Controller is worth the money - especially when it comes with another game.
Review: The Wii remotes best feature is that it is wireless. We purchased a Wii system 8 months ago and immediately paid the extra money for a second remote. We knew that we would need it to play multi player games like tennis and boxing. The remote uses a ...

Epinions I always Gloat on the Wii Remote!

by  boringmonkey23,  Jul 27, 2008
Pros: amazing technology, rumble, sound
Cons: batteries
The Bottom Line: I recommend this because it uses great technology and is fun to have!
Review: The Wiimote or Wii Remote is what makes the Nintendo Wii so much different from all of the other video game consoles! Yes, the Wii still uses the same type of games and uses them as discs. Yes, the Wii still uses the same buttons. But with ...

Epinions Classic Controller is a recommended accessory

by  aparoidx,  Jan 26, 2007
Pros: Ergonomic design and convenient button layout makes for a great controller
Cons: Lack of rumble feature and other peripherals may disappoint hardcore gamers
The Bottom Line: I highly suggest this controller, even though it is not necessary.
Review: If you don't already know what this product is, allow me to elaborate. By connecting your Nintendo Wii to the internet (3 ways: Nintendo WiFi USB Connect, Wireless Internet setup, Wired Internet Setup [using LAN adapter]), you can access the Wii Shop ...

Epinions A controller that hard core old school gamers will appreciate

by  tommy_lop,  Jan 14, 2007
Pros: it feels like the SNES controller, larger control pad
Cons: only can connect to the wii mote, the gamecube controller works just as well.
The Bottom Line: For the rest of us the gamecube controller works just as well.
Review: I got the wii classic controller for Christmas along with a new wii remote. I was glad though I wanted to try it but I didn’t want to spend any of my money on it, after playing it the last few weeks with my VC game I am glad I got it for Christmas, but I ...

Epinions The Classic Controller For Wii - SNES Controller On Steroids!

by  rapoob2,  Oct 2, 2008
Pros: Brings back SNES memories...
Cons: Unnecessary
The Bottom Line: There's a good chance you'll never need this...
Review: You may have seen this on the store shelf and wondered "why would I ever need that with my awesome WiiMote?" or "Way to try and sucker people into buying a 'normal' looking controller, Nintendo!" Either way, you probably did not know what in the world ...

Epinions The Wii Classic controller - so small, so cool, so unnecessary

by  cobadee,  Dec 27, 2006
Pros: Cool design
Cons: There's no need for it. Some control issues.
The Bottom Line: There's no reason to buy this. If you don't have a Gamecube controller, buy one. If you do have a Gamecube controller, you don't need this!
Review: When buying the Wii I, and I'm sure most others, thought that to play the virtual console games for the Wii, you needed the classic controller. Why would they sell a controller if it wasn't necessary for the system? I hope my review can help others ...
