DS Lite Weight
Pros:
Smaller than original, makes it easier to hide in school bag.
Cons:
Not worth the extra 50 bucks. Games are to easy to lose in toy box.

Author's Review
As good as the standard DS, but buying this as an upgrade will yield no major reward. If the kid has a DS, the DS lite will not bring a higher level of gaming experience. The DS and the DS lite are equal in standards and quality. Introducing a more compact version of the same exact system is just a way of sucking more of your hard earned money out of your pocket. And if you do find yourself buying this system, do yourself a favor and take that extended warranty because this thing will break. The one I bought broke twice, once at the hinges due to a tug of war and once at the screen due to a paper clip incident, and both times I received a brand new system at no extra cost. One more thing, the system comes with an extra stylus. Take that extra stylus and hide it from the little goobers because they will lose the original one.
