A Gem of a System

This affordable, stylish, and fun system is equally appealing to the dedicated and casual gamer. I've played games the majority of my life and as a college student the time I have to play seems less and less. The DS Light is incredibly portable, easy to pick up and put down at any moment. The best part is that the games are fantastic. From Tetris, to Mario Kart, to surgery simulators (Trauma Center is amazing), the DS has a fun experience for any player.

One of the best features this system has is the ability to 'sleep'. Simply close the system and your game stops automatically. Open it up and resume from where you left off. This is excellent for anyone on the go, catching a quick game in between classes, or even sneaking in some Tetris at work.

The system is also very durable and there are many different case options. Most of the cases aren't bulky at all so they don't affect the portability of the system.

The system is also backwards compatible with GameBoy Advance games. So firing up some old favorites is easy. You'll be amazed at how great games look, old or new, with the vivid and bright color displays.
