Epinions A lot of people still play the Microsoft Xbox

by  phungus,  Mar 20, 2007
Pros: A lot like a PC
Cons: Considered old now that the 360 is out
The Bottom Line: It's the perfect bridge between console and PC gaming.
Review: A few years ago, I had a Sony PlayStation 2 and enjoyed it quite a bit, though I always thought it wasn’t quite as good as a PC. I sold the PS2 shortly after building a sweet gaming PC and I played PC games almost exclusively for a year. When Hurricane ...

by  vadimio,  Apr 1, 2003
Pros: hard drive, ability to rip music, best hardware, many good games, XBOX Live
Cons: not many RPG's
The Bottom Line: The raw power, amount of cool features, internet play and selection of games makes this the perfect choice for a gaming console.
Review: About a month ago, I decided to purchase a high class new generation gaming console. Which console did I decide to purchase? Sony's Playstation 2? Heck no, I bought myself a Microsoft Xbox. This turned out to be the best purchase that I have ever made....

Pros: Powerful, Hard Drive, Internet Support, Halo
Cons: Doesn't seem that it will have much for RPG's
The Bottom Line: Now that the Xbox is only $200, I recommend getting one even more
Review: One night this past January, my mother came home with an Xbox and a few games. I was eager to get it hocked up, but unfortunately it was late and I had to wait until tomorrow. When I came home from school it was hooked up and I put in Halo as soon as I...

Epinions On the 7th Day He Made An Xbox

by  yayapex2,  Dec 29, 2004
Pros: Graphics, Built-In Hard Disk, Controller S, Online Capability, Silent and Quick Loading
Cons: NEED a Remote to Play DVDs, Lacks in Japanese Style RPGs
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this to anyone. Xbox has a lot of potential and it's the most powerful system, with great titles like Halo1 & 2.
Review: It was Christmas of 2002 when I received my Xbox. I had asked for it since the summer of that year, when I started going to a friends house to play Halo. At first I was a bit skeptic but I got over it. When I started playing I knew it was for me. ...

Epinions One more xbox review.........

by  suemccartin,  Aug 22, 2006
Pros: Many games, xbox live
Cons: Superseded, 360 available, ps3 available soon
The Bottom Line: Xbox original is plenty for most of us. In the end, game selection will probably be the deciding factor.
Review: I've had many game consoles throughout the years. My latest before the xbox was the venerable original sega console. For it's time this machine was a marvel and offered a huge game selection, I love pinball and that system had the most pinball games ...

Pros: It's heavy, awesome games, great controllers, it has Master Chief.
Cons: It could break your toe, there's no Zelda, you may be stuck to the TV

Review: OMG! Has Anyone Bought One of These Yet?! Just Kidding! Man, these have been out for, what, almost five years? And the only real competition, is, *GASP*, Xbox 360 Yeah, I like to wait until the system is past its prime, and the NEXT ...

Epinions Daddy No!

by  Abraxmed,  Dec 28, 2003
Pros: Great Graphics, built in Hard Drive, System Link and Xbox Live.
Cons: Must buy a remote for the DVD player and Not a huge selection of games.
The Bottom Line: If you value your time run! This machine will eat away your social life. Who needs a life when you have Outlaw Volleyball, wait did I say that out loud?
Review: Why did Bill Gates have top punish me with this infernal time wasting machine? I could be doing things to improve myself like read or learn how to spell. Instead I sit around and play video games. Well I can't blame Gates because if it wasn't the Xbox ...

Review: Great investment for the gaming enthusiast! Update If you are not familiar with the look of the Xbox then it looks like a big black telephone book and weighs about 10 lbs. There are also other colours available if you were lucky enough to ...

Pros: Best graphics on a console; Built in harddrive and broadband; Best value for price;

by  moviebuff88,  Apr 10, 2006
Pros: Games, Graphics, Controllers, everything!
Cons: This isn't the best system for little kids.
The Bottom Line: Buy the Xbox!
Review: The Xbox has been the best system you can buy for about four years, now they have finally come out with the new Xbox 360 witch produces much better graphics. The reason the Xbox was the best was because it can do a lot more than their competitors ...
