Pros: Good Plot and beautiful characters.
Cons: May be boring for people who want some action.
The Bottom Line: People who hate this game tend to hate the game's genre rather than the game itself. Make sure that you enjoy these low-action games before you buy it.
Review: The reason why I bought this game was because the characters of this game was designed by Amano. He's responsible for designing all or most of the characters in Final Fantasy series. (I bet you heard of that series...)
This game is a...

Pros: read the review, Mr. Commissioner
Cons: comment if you're 40+ and feeling baaahhddd
The Bottom Line: beep beepedeboobap beepada pawn
Review: One of the lesser known titles of 1998, a year bulging at the seams with excellent games across all platforms, was Atlus' Kartia: Word of Fate. Despite having artwork by reknowned FF artist Y. Amano, Kartia just wasn't good enough to compete with the...

Pros: Great storyline, fantastic character design, decent music
Cons: Very easy, somewhat boring battle system
Review: Having read the other opinions on this game, I clearly see that this is a "love it or hate it" kind of game. For me personally, and a few other people I have talked about this game with, it is definately a "love it" game.

Pros: Very long with two side to choose from, difficult and will keep you at it, decent graphics and excellent sound
Cons: Lack of control of the story
Review: Although this was the first game of the genre that I had ever played, I thought to go into it with an open mind.
By doing so, I discovered this interested little gem known as Kartia. I was overly impressed with the high quality 2-D graphics on...

Pros: Traditional strategy game
Cons: basic design/graphics
Review: This game was pretty good. I like pretty much all games by Atlus. This one had a great appeal to me because I love strategy games. While the game play was pretty much linear, it was still an extremely fun game. The graphics and sound were not spectacular...

Pros: Create your own monsters, weapons & armor, 2-player mode is fun
Cons: The game is too easy
Review: Kartia: The Word of Fate, is an RPG that is more a strategy based game than a traditional role-playing adventure that you might pick off the shelf. Kartia is a turn based adventure that allows you to move each of your players on the screen and have each...

Pros: Great storyline. Possibly the best.
Cons: Bad battle system.
Review: I think the entire game is boring. Don't get me wrong. I don't hate the game; I love it!
I just think the graphics were a bit underdone. (That means they were simple old school graphics.)
At the store I got Kartia at, Walmart, the...

Review: ....xmas is over and i have 30.00 left over...what to do...what to do?...i walk in to my favorite place to buy video games and browse the shelves...still bummed that they never made a Final Fantasy Tactics II. A game catches my eye...Kartia? What the...

Pros: Simple, easy to learn
Cons: Complete boredom
Review: I'm embarrassed to say that I played most of this game.
At a time when I had nothing else to play.
I felt so dirty.
I'd actually read some good reviews on this game before I started into it and discovered how truly boring...

Pros: tactics game
Cons: horrible graphics, storyline, etc... no innovation
Review: Kartia was one of the worst games I have ever played. The storyline was bland and boring. There was no real innovation in the game either. Everything had already been done in one game or another. The game was short too. Each battle was a chapter and...
