Pros: Physics, graphics, sound, weapons, equipment, controls, no CD dongle
Cons: Online activation required, no manual available (at all)
The Bottom Line: The long-awaited Ueber-game falls somewhat short of the high expectations, but is still awesome!
Review: In 1998 the original Half-Life set standards and the sequel initially set records in a slightly different way by being one of the longest delayed and yet published games ever. Half-Life 2 has finally been published in November 2004 -- 6 ...

Pros: awesome graphics engine, solid plot, gameplay varies, huge environments
Cons: high system specs, a few areas where the character will get "stuck"
The Bottom Line: 3d shooter of 2004.
Review: Half Life 2 received solid reviews from all the major gaming sites on the web, including a 97% from IGN and a 92% from Gamespot, accounting for a disgustingly high 96% overall among 61 media outlets on the web. I wholeheartedly agree. Half Life 2 is ...

Review: The original Half-Life was ground breaking and just plain amazing. I was wondering if it was possible to top that, and yes it was. Graphics: Of course not everyone is going to have the full great graphics that can be experienced on Half-Life 2. But ...

Pros: Graphics and gameplay and story and atmosphere and aliens and...ARRRGGHHH!!!!!
Cons: My head just exploded on how awesome this game is!
The Bottom Line: Certainly worth the wait and fills its billing of hype respectively. Possibly the best game ever made.
Review: Half-life 2. Dear God, people, this is Half-life 2. Forget Doom 3. Forget Far Cry. Hell, forget that game on that console thingy
called Halo 2 or something like that. This is the game that we've been waiting for patiently for many, many years. ...

Pros: Graphical Splendor, Facial Animations, Pacing, Gravity gun, Physics system, forgiving system requirements.
Cons: Steam is pretty clunky, story can turn off many gamers, crashes and freezing
The Bottom Line: It's the whole package to what a perfect game should be. Everything.
Review: It has been several long years before I could step into Gordon's HEV suit and don his glasses again; several long years before I could beat the living hell out of aliens with my crowbar; several long years... No need for introductions for the ...

Pros: Great graphics and sound, amazing physics, Great Immserive world
Cons: Slightly short, Bland enemy design, Poor AI
The Bottom Line: HL-2 is a fine follow up to the 1998 game of the year!
Buy Hl-2 if you're a fan of any game at all, you shouldn't be disappointed.
Review: HALF LIFE-2 Theres a damp smell about the air, a chilling wind howls through dark caves, the distant rumble of a Jet fighter plane can be heard far off in the distance, and then all is quiet. What is this...Half life two? he whispered to me in a ...

Pros: Super good looking. Super fun. Super Physics. Super Game.
Cons: Long and numerous load times. Weak plot. Kinda short, at 15-20 hours.
The Bottom Line: Perhaps one of the best, and most important computer games ever made. You must play Half-Life 2.
Review: Half-Life 2 is the sequel to what many people consider the best game of all time. I stayed off the bandwagon the first time, and regretted it. So this time around I bought the game soon after release date. I bought the game during Thanksgiving Break ...

Pros: Awesome Graphics, Great Gameplay, Hours of Enjoyment
Cons: Extremely annoying online setup required
The Bottom Line: If you like video games, buy this game, period. It's that good. Just be prepared for an irritating install process.
Review: I hadn't bought a PC game in years, and likely won't in many years to come. However, when I saw trailers for half life 2 I knew I had to buy it. The physics of a game are extremely important to me, and that's where half life 2 shines. I bought the game ...

Pros: Embodies every FPS innovation of recent years to create a polished, complete gaming experience.
Cons: Compared to the original, it's more evolutionary than revolutionary.
The Bottom Line: Valve proves again that there's no limit to where PC gaming can go, now or in the future.
Review: 2004 proved to be a surprising banner year for PC gaming, but then again, what would you expect with "Doom 3" and "Half-Life 2", the sequels to two of the greatest first-person shooters of all time, both scheduled to arrive on store shelves? And that's ...

Pros: Amazing gameplay, excellent graphics, the funnest game made to date.
Cons: STEAM connectivity, plot shortcomings, some minor bugs.
The Bottom Line: A simply amazing game. Highly recommended.
Review: Half-Life 2 (hearafter: HL2) is without a doubt Valve's magnum opus. I remember following the news about the development of the game, and saw the project having more ups and downs than a car on the Coney Island Comet. Valve's huge team poured ...
