Avoid this camera!

Pros: None

Cons: batteries, night shots

The Bottom Line: Olympus should re-tool their 8 megapixel camera and fix the serious battery issue and the night photo capabilities.

Review: I thought this would be an upgrade from my Olympus C160, which is an old work-horse. How wrong I was. This has a serious problem with batteries....not that it eats them (which it does) but that it doesn't even read them. You can insert ...

Short battery usage

Pros: Excellent picture quality. 5X optical zoom. Small.

Cons: Rechargeable batteries are almost unusable in this camera.

Review: This camera takes great pictures, but it will not take very many with rechargeable batteries (which have a lower voltage than regular AA alkaline batteries). The "Battery Empty" indication appears after only a few pictures when using NimH 1.25V ...
